As a registered childminder, Caroline can care for a maximum of six children under 8 at any one time, of whom no more than three may be under 5. In practice the setting is kept intentionally small for quality of care.
The first visit is a relaxed, informal tour of the setting. You can bring your child if you’d like, ask any questions and get a feel for the environment. There is absolutely no obligation to book.
Yes — all sessions include appropriate meals and snacks. Full days include breakfast, a hot lunch and an afternoon snack. Morning sessions include breakfast and lunch. Dietary requirements are always accommodated.
Yes. Tumble Tots accepts 15 and 30 hour free childcare funding for eligible 3 and 4 year olds, as well as Tax-Free Childcare and employer childcare vouchers. Please ask Caroline for details on how to apply.
The standard notice period is four weeks. Full details are set out in the childminding contract, which is provided and discussed before any placement begins.
Caroline provides daily updates through a digital learning journal, including photos and observations. At pick-up there is always a verbal handover to share how the day has gone.
